Choose Device Manager in the drop down that should appear at the lower-left corner of your screen. Choose Human Interface Devices from the new window. First of all, you need to say thanks to getintopc. Now Choose your Touch Screen display from the sub-list. Right press or use the Action drop down for choose Disable device.

Many touch screens don not have external ways to shut them off, but it is really quite easy to do this through Windows 10.

Two most simple and common methods for toggling your touch screen’s functionality.

  1. First, Deactivate using the Search Bar
  2. Look for the Search Bar to the right of your Start button. Look for the little magnifying glass next to the Windows logo if you are not finding it.
  3. Type Device Manager at the Search Bar and click Enter.
  4. Press on Device Manager in the results. If you have typed everything in a correct manner, you should not have much to sort through.
  5. Select Human Interface Devices from the window.
  6. Choose touch screen display from the new sub-list.
  7. Right-press or use the Action drop down to choose Disable device.
  8. When a verification popup loads, press Yes to proceed.
  9. Direct access through hotkeys or the Start menu
  10. Hold the Windows and X keys together, or simply right-press on the Start button.
  11. click on Device Manager from the drop down which should appear in the lower-left corner of your screen.
  12. Then choose Human Interface Devices from the new window.
  13. Press your touch screen display in the sub-list.
  14. Right-press or use the Action drop down to choose Disable device.
  15. When a verification popup loads, press “Yes” to proceed.

Touch your screen to confirm that it is successfully deactivated. For turn on your touch screen again, simply repeat this procedure. When you have trouble deactivating touch screen, contact your product’s customer support team immediately.
